* Plenary Sessions

Plenary sessions will take place in the Krutch Theatre (Building 14).

* Parallel Sessions

Parallel sessions will take place in Building 14 in session rooms marked for the Aging Conference.


Driving to Campus:

Parking on campus is limited to specific lots, time restrictions and fees may apply depending on where you park. There are unattended and unattended parking lots.  Arrangements have been made for delegates to purchase a daily parking permit at the Southwest lot.  Daily permits are $10 and available for purchase from the parking cashier at the Southwest lot.  The cashier will be selling permits from 8am to 12pm on both days of the conference.  A campus map is attached for your convenience. Public Transportation:

Using public transportation is easy, convenient and recommended by the University of California- Berkeley.  Depending on where you are staying different routes may be more convenient than others.  Please make sure to refer to SF Bay Area Transit providers, AC Transit for detailed information and route information.


UC Berkeley also works with area transportation companies to provide shuttle services on and off campus. For detailed route information please refer to the Berkeley website or consult the attached map and schedule:


If you are staying at the conference hotel, Hotel Shattuck, than you will take 51B or 49 depending on time of departure. At the link below, the 51B and 49 routes are mapped from the conference hotel to the conference venue.


The conference registration desk will be located in the foyer entrance of Building 14. Registration will be open beginning at 8:00 AM Friday, 11 November 2011. Upon your arrival, you will be given the final conference program, name tag and conference bag.

We request all presenters pick up their badges at least half an hour before the commencement of the day’s program on the day their presentation has been scheduled.
